EARTH

Earthbending is the ability to manipulate and move earth and rock. The main focus
that allows earthbenders to do this, is to find and use their 'neutral jing' to
wait for the exact right moment to attack, and attacking with purpose and precision.
These are some of the most common earthbending abilities:

• Earth levitation:
  The most common earthbending technique, levitation allows
  the earthbender to lift and throw pieces of earth and rock.
• Earth sinking:
  Earth sinking is often used to by earthbenders
  to sink their opponents into the ground.
• Earth shelter:
  Earth shelter allows earthbenders to create a rock shelter
  above themselves or other people/items. This can be used
  offensively, defensively, or practically.
• Quicksand:
  Using quicksand on an area of earth softens the ground there. This
  is often used as a means of creating a soft landing when falling from a significant height.
• Earthquakes:
  Earthbenders can hit, stomp on, or strike the ground to
  create an earthquake in a particular area. This can be used not only to knock opponents off
  balance, but also to create landslides and cut pieces of rock off large surfaces.
